http://ihcph.kk.dk/artikel/copenhagen-host-program People come to Copenhagen from all over the world for many different reasons. For many newcomers it can be a challenge to learn the language, get to know the local community and establish a network that can lead to friendship, job or education. Copenhagen Host Program helps newcomers to settle in. It matches newcomers who have been in Denmark for less than 3 years, with local volunteer hosts who speak the Danish language and know about the local community and job market. Meetings between newcomers and volunteer hosts enables mutual learning between fellow citizens and helps newcomers get a good start on their life in Copenhagen. Copenhagen Host Program is a co-operation between Copenhagen Municipality (Københavns Kommune) and Association New Danes (Foreningen Nydansker) This video contains additional video material from copenhagenmediacenter.com Produced by http://augenblick-film.dk København Du har danset med mig i 20 år du har lært mig de trin jeg følger men ikke forstår København, du er kun alt jeg har når dine tusinde øjne lukker i og mørket maler dig uendelig dine døtre, de vil mig intet godt men dine øjne lyser mig hjem når jeg får nok Jeg har et lille problem jeg ikke kan finde før du viser mig hvor du gemmer hende København, jeg er din sidste søn når dine tusinde øjne lukker i mørket maler dig uendelig og dine døtre, de vil mig intet godt men dine øjne lyser mig hjem når jeg får nok Mørket vil have mere dagene bliver korte jeg har brugt de sidste kroner på at male mine sorte København, dine øjne bliver flere og flere og dine døtre fortæl dem jeg ikke venter mere

Our first full day in Copenhagen and we decided to take it easy. Strolling from one end of the city to the other through the parks was so fun. Plus we found the grave of Hans Christian Anderson, and ate the local street food of hotdogs a Cocio. Did you know that you can see elephants in the zoo from the local park as well?! WHAT? Denmark and Copenhagen have already captured our hearts. Today we offer some suggestions on how to cook and what to cook during the Grand Solar Minimum and beyond. Sustainability and self sufficiency go hand in hand with Permaculture Principles. https://permacultureprinciples.com/ It was no accident on a cold stormy Tuesday in November I choose cabbage, pork and potatoes for dinner. Not only did it sound delicious in my head but the comfort food aspect was overwhelmingly pleasant. While cooking up the dish I was inspired to share this information with the public. Sustainability and self reliance are a choice currently. In the future however there may not be ample time to prepare to be self sufficient. The time is NOW to start implementing daily steps to secure your families future. Do you want abundance and safety or will you be consumed by the unrest. The choice is yours. Begin now. Most counties within the United States have an extension office of some type that works closely with gardening experts to provide information about gardening in your local area. Because where you live can affect how and when you grow plants, it's important to know how to locate your local extension service so that you know where to go when you have questions about growing plants and your garden. So whether you're starting a vegetable garden, choosing appropriate plants, needing pest control tips, or seeking information about lawn care (including soil tests), this page will help you find the nearest Cooperative Extension Service expert for all your gardening needs. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/extension-search/ http://www.pickyourown.org/countyextensionagentoffices.htm The Breed You Need Breeds on the The Livestock Conservancy’s Conservation Priority List include the critically endangered Choctaw, Gloucestershire Old Spots, Guinea Hog, Large Black, Mulefoot, Ossabaw Island Hog and Red Wattle, along with the threatened Tamworth. Other old but more common breeds include Berkshires, Chester Whites, Durocs, Hampshires, Poland Chinas, Spotted (formerly Spotted Poland Chinas) and Yorkshires. Two old, established breeds that are new to the American scene are New Zealand’s diminutive but meaty Kunekune and the woolly coated Hungarian Mangalitsa. http://www.hobbyfarms.com/17-pastured-pig-breeds-to-raise-for-flavorful-pork/ http://slideplayer.com/slide/4539372/15/images/13/What+are+the+common+breeds+of+swine,+and+how+do+they+differ.jpg 1936 James Seed Co. says about Copenhagen Market Cabbage.... "The earliest of the ball-shaped cabbages, under favorable conditions maturing a crop in six weeks from transplanting. The plants are saucer shaped, forming heads averaging 8 lbs. a few inches from the ground, with few outside leaves, thus allowing of close planting. Copenhagen Market Cabbage grows to its best if the seed is planted in early June and the plants set out in July. Fine hard heads will be formed before frost, and these late heads will keep well if stored in a cool but frost-proof place." http://sustainableseedco.com/copenhagen-market-cabbage.html https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fd/Farm_and_garden_annual_%2816362522066%29.jpg Check out our new PATREON and support our efforts: https://www.patreon.com/OppenheimerRanchProject?utm_campaign=creatorshare2&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook

I've got the last day and a half in Copenhagen shaved down to 8 minutes of cell phone footage consisting of everything from working with my good friends, meeting new skate homies on the streets who explain everything from pronunciation to how health care works, the general culture here and how PDA is very comment, and more. We've been doing the classic "work hard and play hard" here while we're in town to run Copenhagen Pro.
